    How much does it cost to fly in a private jet?

    The price has may variables, but in general you can expect to pay between $1,300 and $3,000 per flying hour to charter a turboprop or smaller jet plane, which typically seats 4 to 6 passengers; between $4,000 and $8,000 per flying hour for a midsize jet, which typically accommodates up to 9 passengers; and between $8,600 and $13,000 per flying hour for larger private jets, which usually seat from 14 to 19 passengers.  Feel free to request a quote and we’re happy to get you the pertinent information for your trip.

    How much does it cost to rent a 747 private jet?

    The average hourly rental rate of the Boeing 747-400 is around 25,000 USD per hour.

    How many pilots operate the aircraft?

    Depending on the type of aircraft that is being chartered, we employ either one or two pilots who are experienced on your specific aircraft.  On select heavy jets during long range flights, we have a third pilot assigned to allow for in-flight crew rotation, which allows you to go farther, faster and without layovers.

    Can I bring my pet onboard the aircraft?

    It will vary from aircraft to aircraft.  If you plan to bring your pet on board a charter flight, please notify us ahead of time so that we can be sure to book you on a jet that accommodates your furry loved one.

    How far in advance do I need to book a jet for charter?

    With as little as two and a half hours notice, we can have you en-route to your destination.  If your situation requires a faster departure, we will also work with you to get you on the way to your destination as quickly as possible without compromising safety.

    What can I expect when I fly a charter flight?

    Are there any luggage or carry-on restrictions when flying private?

    There are limitations and restrictions on both the amount and size of luggage you bring as well as the types of items you may pack. The limitations of amounts and sizes of luggage are dependent upon the size of the baggage area of the aircraft you are chartering. If you plan to bring any oversized items, such as skis or snowboards, please be sure to advise your flight specialist in advance. Also, we are held to the same TSA regulations for prohibited items for carry-on & checked baggage as the airlines.     What in-flight meals or snacks are served on a private jet charter?

    Typically, for shorter-haul charter flights, all jets have a selection of premium snacks and refreshments. For long-haul charter flights, full meals are served according to your requests.  We can even procure a several-course meal and a wine pairing to match your preferences.

    Does Travel King International provide concierge services?

    The private aviation industry adheres to the same safety standards as commercial aviation and is regulated by the same federal agency, the FAA. In addition, Travel King International has developed our own safety standards to ensure every flight is consistent and dependable and arrives at its destination safely.

    What if the jet I need is not available?

    Over the years, Travel King International has cultivated partnerships with a wide range of charter operators. We’ll work with charter operators in our network to find an aircraft that meets your exact travel needs.

    Does every jet require a flight attendant?

    In-cabin service representatives/flight attendants are optional for light and midsize jets. For a safer experience, we recommend a cabin service representative/flight attendant for all charter flights utilizing a heavy jet.

    The three main airports in the Houston area are D Wayne Hooks, William P Hobby and Bush Intercontinental. The best airport is really determined by your final destination and its proximity to the local airports. If you are departing from Houston your starting location will determine what is most convenient for you. William P Hobby is the most used charter airport in Houston, you can usually save money using Hobby as there are quite a few aircraft based there that require no re-positioning.

    What is the largest aircraft you have available in Houston, TX?

Once you go above the 16-18 passenger count the aircraft are setup with more of a first class seating arrangement as opposed to the VIP arrangements.
